Alton Middle School students in this class practice a variety of skills including; keyboarding with All the Right Type, math and literacy in Study Island, and designing multimedia projects. Scratch, a product of the MIT Media Lab, was developed especially for middle school students to experience the excitement of computer programming. Alton Middle School 7th and 8th grade Great Americans project provided students an opportunity to research a variety of people from Maya Angelou to Rachel Carson and many others.
